<idAbs>&lt;div style='text-align:Left; font-size:12pt;'&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Il dataset costituisce un mosaico di immagini acquisite dal satellite Sentinel 2A (programma europeo Copernicus) durante l'estate del 20&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;2&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;1&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;. Le immagini sono state opportunamente mosaicate e sono pubblicate in colori naturali: bande 4 (rosso), 3 (verde) e 2 (blu) del sensore MSI (13 canali nel visibile/infrarosso VNIR&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt; Il mosaico è stato realizzato da Arpa Piemonte nell'ambito delle attività connesse al progetto nazionale di Monitoraggio del Consumo di suolo 20&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;2&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;1&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt; condotto dal Sistema Nazionale per la Protezione Ambientale (SNPA) attraverso il coordinamento di ISPRA e il coinvolgimento di diverse Agenzie regionali. Il progetto si pone l'obiettivo di monitorare le trasformazioni del territorio dovute a espansioni urbane, infrastrutturali, commerciali, ecc. con la conseguente perdita di suolo naturale, agricolo e semi naturale, inteso come risorsa ambientale essenziale e fondamentalmente non rinnovabile. La metodologia di analisi si avvale, per la prima volta su scala nazionale in modo unitario ed omogeneo, delle nuove immagini Sentinel 2A/B che, dato il loro livello di dettaglio e la frequenza di rivisitazione garantita dalla missione Sentinel, consentono di ottenere visioni d¿insieme del territorio nazionale in maniera periodica e costante (analisi multi temporale).
