<idAbs>&lt;DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;font-size:12pt"&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;L'immagine è un mosaico in falsi colori dei valori stagionali dell'indice NDVI* (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) calcolato a partire dalla collezione di immagini acquisite sul Piemonte dalla coppia di satelliti Sentinel 2A-2B del programma europeo Copernicus, relativamente al periodo autunno 2021 - estate 2022. Il mosaico è stato generato componendo in un'immagine unica, secondo il modello di colori RGB, i valori stagionali di sintesi dell¿indice NDVI: al canale del rosso (R) è stato associato l'autunno 2021, a quello del verde (G) la primavera 2022, al blu (B) l'estate 2022. La composizione degli NDVI stagionali siffatta consente di differenziare le aree per le quali sono presenti uno o più cicli vegetativi o comunque variazioni della copertura del suolo (aree variamente colorate) da quelle in cui il suolo è completamente privo di vegetazione o con acqua permanente (tonalità di grigi fino al nero).&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Per il calcolo delle tre immagini di sintesi stagionale dell¿indice NDVI si è proceduto nel modo seguente:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;1) Dallo stack multitemporale stagionale**, per ognuna delle bande che contribuisce al calcolo dell'NDVI, è stato calcolato il valore mediano di riflettanza di ciascun pixel. Sono state ottenute così due immagini: l'immagine di sintesi della banda del rosso e quella della banda del vicino infrarosso. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;2) Dalle immagini di sintesi delle singole bande prodotte al punto precedente è stata infine calcolata l'immagine di sintesi stagionale dell¿indice NDVI.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;L'elaborazione è stata realizzata da Arpa Piemonte nell'ambito delle attività connesse al progetto nazionale di Monitoraggio del Consumo di suolo 2021 condotto dal Sistema Nazionale per la Protezione Ambientale (SNPA) attraverso il coordinamento di ISPRA e il coinvolgimento di diverse Agenzie regionali. Il progetto si pone l'obiettivo di monitorare le trasformazioni del territorio dovute ad espansioni urbane, infrastrutturali, commerciali, ecc. con la conseguente perdita di suolo naturale, agricolo e semi naturale, inteso come risorsa ambientale essenziale e fondamentalmente non rinnovabile.
